As gymnastics continues to increase in popularity around the world, more and more young girls dream of competing in the Olympic Games. It's the largest sporting competition in the world, and one where gymnastics takes center stage. Gold medal winners become legends and celebrities - which is a fitting reward given the hours and years of grueling training that Olympians have gone through. We've compiled a list of Olympians dating back to 1952, which is consider the first official Olympics involving full women's gymnastics teams. Given that today, only the top 12 teams qualify today, only the top 12 teams are listed for all Games.
